This place was recommended from a friend. I pulled in and was pleasantly surprised by the positive energy in the place. The gentleman and Mrs Betty were joking and interacting with the customers. This place was packed. I had the cashew chicken and the egg rolls and they were phenomenal.

This place has been open for quite a while, with great food and wonderful owners, while it doesn't look like much should be a place visited often. The couple in charge of the restaurant are the sweetest people you've ever met and are so nice to talk to. You can tell they put love into everything they make and it makes their food really shine through. In my opinion for what your getting the food is under priced and it's just an absolute joy to eat.

Cashew chicken or sweet and sour chicken. Delicious, large quantity, and I love the owners. This place is so small and adorable, I hope they last forever. They treated my daughter extra special for being a student also.

I tried this place for the first time today and learned the food is terrific, the owners are friendly, and the customers are loyal to the owners. I didn't know they didn't take credit cards. The bill was $12 and I only had $6 cash. I was going to leave the food but the owner said he'd take what I had. A customer tried to pay the other $6 so the owner wouldn't lose it. The owner wouldn't accept it. I went home and got more cash from my husband and paid the rest. The owner was surprised because he didn't ask me to do that. The customers seem to live the owners and I can see why. I will go back often and will take cash. We had cashew chicken. It was terrific. Next time I'm getting egg rolls. They're huge and only a dollar.

I've dined at the Magic Woke since my early teen years. It's hard to beat Miss Betty's personality and love for cooking. Although this is a casual dining trailer experience, it's always a treat for me to visit.
